Through a focus on listening and understanding, Christian helps his clients discover the essence of what home means to them. Getting things right starts with seeing the project from the client’s perspective and collaborating to create a place they can call home.

As founder of Christian Gladu Design, Christian brings over 20 years of design and technical experience to every project. His approachable style combined with his ability to blend a project’s key elements are the essential ingredients to creating a unique design solution for every client.

Throughout his career, Christian has conceptualized and designed hundreds of homes across the United States. In his role as Principal Designer and Creative Director, Christian works hand in hand with clients and manages Christian Gladu Design’s creative team.

As an innovator, thinker and career long advocate of the Green Building movement, Christian has designed multiple LEED projects and LEED Platinum homes. As a certified Passive House Consultant and certified Sustainable Homes Professional, Christian integrates energy efficiency and healthy home principals into every project.

Christian has contributed to a variety of publications and authored three books. He has been featured on HGTV and in the New York Times. Creativity, communication, and collaboration define Allyn’s approach with clients during the design process. Thriving on the opportunity to find solutions through creative exploration, Allyn’s highly organized method gives her the perspective to push the boundaries, break the rules, and think outside box.

Allyn believes that travel is the catalyst that exposes us to new facets of design and defines who we are as designers. In developing her own integrative approach, Allyn studied landscapes in Kyoto, Japan, interiors in New York City, and urban design in Copenhagen, Denmark. She finally settled down just long enough to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Oregon – Go Ducks!

Allyn lives in Issaquah, WA. She loves reading, puzzles, traveling, and often wakes up at 4am to catch a Liverpool match.

It all begins with an idea. Alison finds inspiration in the challenge each new project offers. Whether it is reimagining an existing home into a refreshed remodel, or beginning a new project with a blank canvas, Alison strongly believes that each project is an opportunity build something unique and beautiful with every client.

Alison received her undergraduate degree in Communications and Spanish, and later found her way back to school for design after traveling and falling in love with all types of architecture around the world. Alison feels that design is the place where creativity and tangibility can coexist.

Alison lives in Seabeck, WA with her husband, daughter, two dogs and flock of chickens. In her free time she can probably be found trail running, biking, reading, or hiking with her family.
