Here we have the second of seven houses designed by Christian Gladu Design in Allen’s Cove. This project's main focus was on connecting the public living spaces with the scenic western views and shared private dock. At the same time, it ensures that the inland houses, too, enjoy privacy and their own view corridors.
The house is anchored by a prominent stair tower and an observatory that offers a full 360-degree view. A small cottage and boat shed enhance the overall layout, creating a welcoming courtyard at the front of the home.
Taking cues from the shingle-style architectural movement, the exterior design emphasizes detailed millwork. The use of rich ebony stained cedar shingles adds a touch of elegance to the overall appearance.
